No thanks to Delta Airlines, we MADE it back to the USA. A day later than originally planned and while I had originally said when I discovered Delta had rearranged our return flight FOR us (without asking, I might add) that there were worst places to be stuck for an extra day than Marrakesh, that was BEFORE I contracted “turista” of some vicious stripe. I was able to book the fare cheaper elsewhere. You apparently don’t talk well with your partner, KLM (through whom I booked the flight and was somehow possessed of the idea a person’s first and middle names need to be run together). I’m fuzzy as to where you and/or KLM got this idea that it was okay to ADD and EXTRA day to our trip (we were okay with that, but thought it would have been awesomely cool to ASK first – and offer to help with an extra night’s lodging FIRST).

Zero-dark-forty-five… Pony asks why all adventures want to start in the middle-of-the-night. I suppose they must – if you are flying nearly halfway around the world and want to arrive at during daylight hours multiple timezones away.
